Terms & privacy policy


1. Applicability

a) These terms and conditions apply to all services rendered by 10x Growth Company GmbH (“Growth Academy”).
b) By booking any of our courses online you accept these terms and conditions. You can find the terms and conditions on our website. If you would like to receive a copy of these for your records, please send an email via contact form and we will send it to you.
c) We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. Please check our website for the latest version of the terms that apply.

2. Confidentiality, data protection, and intellectual property rights
a) Your privacy is important to us. Any confidential and/or personal data (such as, email address, company data) you share with us will only be used for the purpose of the course. It will not be shared with third parties (except if necessary for the course or with your prior approval).
b) Please respect the confidentiality of any information shared in class, whether by the moderators, guest speakers, or any of the participants of the course. Growth Academy and its trainers will keep confidential any confidential information shared by the participants in class.
c) Our site and course contains copyrighted materials, trademarks, and proprietary information of Growth Academy and licensors of Growth Academy
d) This includes, without limitation, video, text, photos, graphics, images, and audio (“Growth Academy Course Materials”).
e) By attending our Growth Academy or any other provided service you shall not obtain any right to the “Growth Academy Course Materials”. These materials may also not be shared in any way. If any course content would be shared, we may deny you further access to the course and/or the online learning platform. It is strictly forbidden to use any of our content (slides, reading list, exercises) for commercial growth training/services/workshops.
f) You are welcome to use all of our images and text in our blog / website, as long as you mention the source and include a “dofollow” link to the original. For the avoidance of doubt, you are not welcome to share any of the information provided to you in the “Growth Academy Course Materials” as long as they have not been publicly shared by Growth Academy.

Booking & registration
a) On our website you find an overview of the courses we teach. All the details of the course, including dates, location and price, are stated on the course page or in the email following application.
b) All prices mentioned on our website are exclusive of VAT, unless determined otherwise.
c) Payment of the course fee is due upon registration, unless it was agreed otherwise with Growth Academy.

Access to online learning platform
a) We provide all of our attendees' login credentials for our Online Learning Platform (“OLP”). You are responsible for all the activities you make in your account.
b) Access to the OLP is strictly personal and you may not share your log-in details. If any suspicious activity is found in your account, we have the right to deny you further access and delete your account (without any liability).
c) You may share content within your organization, subject to our fair use policy. You may not use any content to offer commercial services that overlap with Growth Academy services, such as growth strategy course, workshops, or advisory, whether during the course or thereafter.
d) We do not train companies who offer services that overlap with our services. We have the right to deny or remove you from the course and/or the OLP if you offer services that overlap with Growth Academy services.

Use of third-party services

We may give you access to external accounts but we are not responsible for the use of those services and their terms and conditions shall apply to the use of their services.

Cancellation and no show policy
a) If you are considered to be a consumer (e.g. not registering for the course as a business or as an employee of a company), you have a statutory term of 14 days to cancel your booking without charge. This term starts from the date of booking.
b) You may change the date of your course without extra charge, if you give us at least two weeks’ notice. If you cancel a booked course up to two weeks before the course date, we will refund 100% of the booking costs. Cancelation up to one week before the start date will be refunded 75% and cancellations within one week of the start date receive a 50% refund.
c) If you don’t show up (e.g. if you are ill), you will get access to the materials, but we cannot guarantee a seat on in the next cohort. There shall be no refund.
d) In the unlikely event Growth Academy has to cancel the course you booked, we will inform you in due course and you may attend the next course that fits your schedule. In case you do not wish to attend the course on a new date, we will reimburse you the amount paid for the course you booked.
e) Growth Academy will pay any refunds under this clause within 30 days of a refund request.

Complaints

In case you have a complaint about our course or a trainer, you can submit a complaint via our contact form.
Applicable law and court

Court and Jurisdiction
Place of jurisdiction: Schwäbisch Hall
German law is applicable.
Any dispute shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Schwäbisch Hall, Germany.
